Publisher Creative Approval
Learn how we're improving an important process

A redesigned review flow that turns a multi-hour approval process into minutes.
Creative approval is one of the most friction-heavy steps between a media buy and a live campaign. Dozens of units across multiple markets — each requiring a format check, a visual review, and a clear decision communicated precisely enough that publishers can act on it. Done wrong, it's a bottleneck that delays launches and generates follow-up email threads that should never have existed.
The redesigned Publisher Creative Approval flow is built around a single constraint: every decision should take seconds, not minutes.
A flow designed for the decision, not the file hunt
Approval and rejection now happen in a single click. Each unit surfaces its creative thumbnail, media file format, face ID, description, market, size, and upload date — the exact information needed to evaluate and act, without any digging. The Approve and Reject buttons sit directly adjacent to the creative. No tab switching. No downloading attachments to verify a format. The decision is informed and immediate.
The information needed to approve or reject a creative is visible the moment the page loads — nothing more, nothing less.
The inclusion of the upload date is a small detail with outsized utility. It tells reviewers at a glance how long a creative has been waiting, making it easy to prioritize the queue by age and prevent submissions from sitting unreviewed at the bottom of a list.
Reject with clarity, not ambiguity
A rejection without context is simply a delay. Suppliers can't fix what they don't understand, and vague feedback generates follow-up cycles that compound the original problem. The new flow includes a set of templated rejection reasons covering the most common issues, letting reviewers communicate precisely with a single selection. When the situation calls for more specificity, adding a custom reason is equally fast.
The result: a rejected creative arrives with an explanation that's actionable. Not a mystery that requires another email to resolve.
Bulk actions for campaigns at scale
A single OOH campaign can span dozens of units across multiple markets. Reviewing them one at a time i a tax on time that compounds as campaign complexity grows. Bulk approval and rejection actions let reviewers process groups of creatives simultaneously: approve everything that passes spec in one action, or flag a set sharing the same issue in another.
For the scope of campaigns AdQuick handles, this is the difference between an approval workflow that takes an afternoon and one that takes an hour.
Creative approval, resolved
The redesigned flow reduces one of the most friction-laden steps in OOH campaign execution to something that takes minutes rather than hours. Faster approvals mean faster launches. And faster launches mean the media you've already bought starts working sooner.
The media is bought. The placements are confirmed. Creative approval should never be what's holding a campaign back.
