Out with the old, in with the new

Ideas to help you win as we enter 2025

We wanted to send a final note for the year (yes, it's still 2024 for just a bit longer) sharing ideas to make your first week of 2025 great. If you're on vacation and reading this when you come back (we hope you're refreshed) this works just the same.

Start the New Year clean

Clear out inboxes, Slack notifications and everything else cluttering your workflows and project management systems. Get yourself focused on new work and any additional planning to kick off the new year. Never be afraid to do a reset on the small things. Trust your larger project plans and personal organization systems. I assure you, anything important you miss will find you. Clean slates rule.

Sweep your calendar of non-essential meetings

A lot of us get pulled into too many meetings. It happens, totally normal at companies large and small. Start the year by going through Q1 and removing any non-essential meetings. See if there's any 1-offs that could be just an email or you could simply figure out the ask and close out. The cleaner your calendar, the more productive, revenue-generating work you'll actually get done.

Ship more things

Do everything you can to have a bias to shipping. As someone who has done marketing and ads work for 2 decades across many teams, my most successful orgs had a high agency mindset, with competent professionals empowered at all levels. An ethos I personally like to instill in my teams is "you can just do things," which is basically another way of saying ask forgiveness, not permission.

Make sure your team is hype for 2025

Honestly, what's better than having colleagues and contractors excited about the year ahead? Teams that are feeling good about the mission win, and this is totally within your control to be a person setting the tone for 2025. It's easy to forget our job isn't just management, it's leadership, and positive vibes can come from all levels in the organization.

These are all easy wins when you come back that you can feel good about. Encourage your team to do the same and build momentum for new campaigns and ideas out the gate.

We're here to help make OOH easy, so that's one less stress or concern you can have next year - we guarantee it.
