How our 2026 predictions are holding up
A quick re-cap halfway through the year

At AdQuick, being advertising and market nerds, our team loves tracking trends and making predictions.
Before the year started, we published our predictions for the trends that would shape advertising in 2026 (we’ve been doing this for several years now). With just more than half of the year complete (54%), we thought it was a good time to check in on how those predictions are playing out.
The short version? Many of the biggest trends we called have only accelerated.
Most notably, out of home continues its remarkable momentum. The industry posted another all-time revenue record in Q1 2026, extending its streak to 20 consecutive quarters of growth. Digital OOH now represents roughly 36% of industry revenue, reinforcing what we’ve believed for years: OOH’s resurgence is a durable, long-term shift. (We talk about the reasons behind this all the time.)
Here’s a quick check-in on the trends we called and how they’re tracking:
✓ OOH continues to set all-time revenue records.
✓ AI has moved from experimentation to an everyday marketing workflow.
✓ Integrated campaigns continue to outperform siloed channel strategies.
✓ Publishers are expanding APIs and self-service buying, reducing planning friction.
✓ Privacy-safe, measurable media has become even more valuable as marketers navigate an increasingly fragmented ecosystem.
✓ Traditional reach channels continue to fragment, driving more brands toward durable, high-attention media like OOH.
