2026 New Year's resolutions

Let's make the next year great, together

As 2025 wraps and 2026 gets underway, the strongest marketing teams are making clear commitments on what they want to focus on.

While these will be different for every group, here are five New Year’s resolutions worth making for any ambitious team, and an easy action item to get started.

Make OOH a core channel, not a test

Digital saturation is real, and people are just really distracted online and on mobile. Many teams seeing outsized returns are using out-of-home to create real-world presence and reinforce digital performance.

Action: commit to at least one OOH-led or OOH-supported campaign per quarter to stand out.

Measure what actually drives outcomes

Dashboards by themselves no one checks aren’t insights. In 2026, winning teams align channels/teams around shared KPIs, and use adhered to measurement processes and technology to understand what’s working.

Action: you're probably already measuring digital, but make OOH and offline channels first class citizens in your measurement stack, too.

Use AI to improve execution but not replace thinking

AI is becoming table stakes for planning, creative iteration, and optimization. The advantage goes to teams that use it to actually improve their work (vs simply be faster for the sake of speed).

Action: apply AI to one new workflow in a way that eliminates busywork and lets you focus on creative things the machines can't do.

Plan campaigns as systems, not silos

Your audience doesn’t experience channels separately even if you do that during planning. Integrated campaigns consistently outperform disconnected ones.

Action: align media, creative, and analytics teams before campaigns launches, not after.

Use real-world signals to guide strategy

Location and mobility data now rival digital signals in value. Offline behavior provides context digital alone can’t.

Action: Incorporate real-world data into your next planning cycle.

If you need assistance putting any of these into action (especially around OOH planning, execution, or measurement) AdQuick is built to help.

Here’s to a smarter, more effective 2026.
